  4. In order to enter the appropriate grade, the child's birthday must be on or before September 1st.

Security Measures

Classes begin at 8:30 A.M. All children must be dropped off at their classroom door on time. If you arrive after 8:30 A.M., please report to the main office, to pick up a late pass.  then you must take the child to the class and sign in  on the sheet.

Access to classrooms is limited to authorize personnel only. Pick-up is limited to the authorized persons on your child's list. if someone is picking up your child and they are not on the authorized pick-up list, please notify the Learning Center. This person will be ask to provide identification. Upon your child's pick-up, he immediately becomes your responsibility.

It is very important that you sign in and out on a daily basis. Please note, for security reasons, once you have picked up your child, please do not let him or her play in our play areas.

Discipline

At our Learning Center we pride ourselves in maintaining a Christian environment. The only method of discipline used is the "thinking chair". The child is removed from the group for the number of minutes of his age and sat in the thinking chair. If the disruptive behavior continues, they will be sent to the directors office. If the inappropriate behavior persists, a parent conference will be arranged. All children will always be treated with love and respect.

Health Guidelines

Should your child be injured or become ill at school, you will be notified immediately. Please keep us current regarding your phone number both at home and at work. This information is vital should an emergency arise. Emergency Contact: It is very important for us to have the name and phone number of someone who can be responsible for your child if we cannot reach you. This person should be able to come to school and pick up your child if necessary. Please be sure the person you list has this understanding.

Uniforms

Uniforms are mandatory and are sold in the Learning Center an All Uniform Wear.  There are three different types of uniforms daily, official and winter so please make sure your child is dressed accordingly.
