

Magaly Coho (PK2 Little)
Mrs. Coho was born in Cuba and is licensed by the State of
Florida in childcare. She has a degree in Commerce and
immigrated to the United States in 1973 where she promptly became a U.S. citizen.
She has been with us at Mother of Christ for seven years and takes care of our
18 months to
2 year olds. She loves learning and sharing her skills and knowledge for the
betterment of our children, Learning Center and community.

Odalys Cuza (PK2)
Mrs. Cuza was born in Havana, Cuba. She arrived in the United
States in 2000. She graduated in 1991 with a degree in accounting from the
Institute of Economy in Cuba. She studied childcare education, where she
received her Child Development Association, and all required trainings from the
state of Florida. She has been working in Mother of Christ Learning Center
as a teacher for two years and she loves to share her love and knowledge with
our little children ( 18 months to 2 years old).
Ana Keila Diaz (PK-2)
Mrs. Diaz was born in Brasil, Sao Luis and arrived to the United
States in 2002. She then graduated in 1998 with a degree of Licentiate in
Education from the university Center of Manranhao. She is licensed by the
state of Florida and has Bachelor's Degree in Science. She has been
working in the Learning Center since the beginning of the school year teaching
and helping the 2 year old children develop.
Milexys Mirabal (PK-2)
Mrs. Mirabal has been working in the learning center since the beginning
of the school year. She is certified by the state of Florida with Child
Development Association, and has completed the training hours required.
This is her first time working with children and loves to work with them.
She feels extremely blessed with the opportunity to work with us.
Mrs. Sailyn M. Robaina (PK-3)
Mrs. Robaina was born in Matanzas, Cuba and arrived to the United States in
1995. She studied in Cuba at the Instituto Pedagogico Rene Fraga Moreno.
She continued her studies in the United States for Childcare Education, and
received all the training hours required. She plans to continue preparing
for child development education and loves to work with children.

Alicia Diez (PK-3)
Mrs. Diez has over 20 years teaching children of all ages. She
is licensed by the State of Florida and loves sharing her love and comprehension
with our children. She is thrilled at being a member of our educational staff.
Connie Torres
Mrs. Connie Torres was born in Guatemala where she graduated as a
pre-kindergarten teacher working with children ages 4 to 5. She currently
attends Miami-Dade College to continue and strengthen her career in the State of
Florida requirements including her CDA. She enjoys working with children
in Pre-K3.

Idalia Echagarrua (PK-3 Older)
My name is Idalia and have worked as a teacher for over 24 years
the last 2 in Pre K3. I have a degree in science in elementary education and CDA
credential for preschool. I'm currently taking additional courses to further my
education.
Tania Cepero (Pk-3)
Mrs. Cepero was born in Havana, Cuba and work since very young as a teacher.
She has completed all trainings required in the State of Florida. She is
very creative, enthusiastic, and helps with the development of the child
according to their age.

Thais Delgado (PK3)
Mrs. Delgado was born in Venezuela. She specializes in
children with learning difficulties and has over 25 years experience. She is
licensed by the State of Florida and receives great satisfaction in sharing her
professional, educational and loving gifts with all her children.
Yislen Jimenez (PK-3)
Ms. Yislen Jimenez was born in Cuba and arrived to the United States in 2004.
She has experience with children that have special needs. She studied in
the United States for the 40 hours requirement from the State of Florida
is currently continued her studies for child development. She is the
Learning Center's Teacher's Assistant and has been with us since the summer
program.
Miriam Othon (PK-4)
Mrs. Othon has a degree specializing in Early Childhood
Education. She is also graduate of the music conservatory "Julian Orbon".
She has been working as a teacher since 1961 in her native country, Cuba, as
well as Spain. She has worked in several schools in the United States for
the last 24 years. The last 6 years she has been working in her home
Mother of Christ as a Pre-K4 teacher. She loves her profession and takes
it very seriously because she wants to be a good role model to all of her
students.
Maria Gonzalez (PK-4)
Mrs. GOnzalez graduated with an Associates Degree in Arts in Education
Elementary teaching from Escuela Pedagogica Jose Marti, Havana, Cuba. She
is currently co validating her degree. She review's and corrects all of
the children's homework with an emphasis on providing individual students
opinions. she loves to tutor after school children helping them
understand, learn, improve and make their grades. She feels blessed to
have the opportunity to work and share her talents here at Mother of Christ.
Maria Ana Martinez (PK-4)
Ms. Martinez is originally from South America, Venezuela. She graduated
from Miami Dade College in 1981 with an A.A. and A.S. degree in Early Childhood
Education and obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Barry University in Early
Elementary Education. She has always wanted to become a teacher because it
was her vocation to be around children. She became a teacher in 1983.
She is also a mother of two boys 14 yrs old and 19 yrs old. She is
very happy to be teaching Pre-K at Mother of Christ Catholic Learning Center.
Maria Teresa Cajiao (PK-4)
Mrs. Cajiao was born in Colombia and she has been living in the United States
for 30 years. She has worked mostly in administrative jobs but she became
a grandmother 14 years ago and realized how much she loves to be working with
children. She has already completed her 40 hours in child care and is
currently doing her CDA at Miami Dade College. She also has 5 years of
Early Literacy course Computer Technology for Childcare Professionals along with
CPR and First aid training. She has been with Mother of Christ Catholic
Learning Center for 4 years and she loves it.
Mr. Robert De Paz (P.E. Coach)


Olga Castro (PK-2)
Mrs. Castro was born in Havana, Cuba and arrived in the United
States in 1998. She has taken and passed several courses regarding infant
education. She feels honored and enjoys being part of the staff at the
Mother of Christ Learning Center, a place where our children are nurtured,
taught, protected and can grow happy. In closing she wants to add that our
children are our future and we not only teach and guide them, but we learn from
them as well.
Norella Isaza (PK-4)
Mrs. Isaza was born in Medellin, Colombia where she finalized her
studies in Economy at the University Auto Americana. She has been living
in the United States for 28 years and has been a member of Mother of Christ
Catholic Church since it was founded. She has been teaching CCD for over
18 years and she is currently teaching at Mother of Christ. She has
completed her 40 hours accreditation from the State of Florida and has been
working with the Learning Center since the beginning of the school year.
She is the afternoon assistant to PK-4. She loves working with kids and
sharing her love and knowledge with them.
Teny Velazquez (PK-3)
Mrs. Velazquez was born in Santa Marta, Colombia, and then moved to New
York where she worked in several but mostly with children. she studied and
graduated in her country Pedagogia where she has realized multiple courses like
CDA. She has 30 years of childcare experience and has been with the Mother
of Christ Learning Center since the beginning of the school year.
Mrs. Susana Cleves (PK-3)
Mrs. Cleves was born in Colombia and later move to New Jersey in 1972 which she
stayed until 1979. She return to the United States in 1999 with her family
and completed her studies in Miami, Florida. She studied for childcare
development and has been working with the Learning Center for the past couple of
months. She has always worked with children and loves to share experience
with all of us.
